Solange Knowles tied the knot with her longtime love Alan Ferguson on Sunday in front of about 100 close friends and family (including Beyoncé, Jay Zand Blue Ivy Carter!) at a church in New Orleans.

The guests, including Bey and her family, all sported shades of white. The singer and Blue Ivy wore dresses, while Jay Z sported a white suit. The couple beamed as they took photos after the ceremony, while mom Tina Knowles was spotted holding hands with her boyfriend.

 Before the wedding, Solange and her beau were spotted riding bicycles, during which several residents congratulated them on their upcoming nuptials, E! News has learned.

The pre-wedding festivities kicked off on Friday night. Solange, sporting a gorgeous, modern bridal-style dress, was spotted walking and holding hands with her beau as they headed towards the Indywood Cinema theatre, while Bey was seen entering the building by herself. Guests reportedly watched Mahogany starring Diana Ross.

Lecturers in the University of Lagos (UNILAG), under the aegis of the Academic Staff Union of Universities today protested against what they considered their poor treatment by the management.

They were joined by students as well as pro-labour activists in their protest which held on the campus today.

The ASUU members were led by Chairman of the UNILAG chapter, Dr. Laja Odukoya, and his predecessor, Dr. Karo Ogbinaka. Other lecturers in the protest include Dr. Dele Ashiru, a former leader of Students Union and a staff adviser to students in the Faculty of Social Science as well as Dr. Sanni of the Faculty of Law.

Also joining the protest in solidarity are activists from the Joint Action Front (JAF) led by Comrade Abiodun Aremu.

The protesters converged near the campus gate at about 9am and moved through the faculty of Education, attracting students who showed sympathy and joined their rally.

NICKI MINAJ’S ‘ONLY’ VIDEO UPROAR

The people have questions. Nicki Minaj‘s lyric video for her new single “Only” has fans in an upoar, with some charging that the rapper and video director Jeff Osborne used Nazi-inspired imagery in the animated short.

Osborne has been retweeting the accusatory messages since the video was released on Friday night, but has yet to directly respond to any of the charges of insensitivity and even anti-Semitism

The MTV Europe Music Awards 20th anniversary was celebrated in style last night, and the host Nicki Minaj won the Best Hip-hop Act award at the MTV EMA in Glasgow, Scotland edging out her YMCMB label mate Drake, Eminem, Iggy Azalea, and Kanye West.

I’m sure nobody saw a selfie co-starring a dinosaur coming, right? We were thrilled and excited on how she engaged and kept the crowd entertained.

SOLANGE IS GETTING MARRIED

Solange Knowles will reportedly get married to her longtime Boyfriend Alan Ferguson this weekend. The singer, who’s been married before, has apparently kept her engagement a secret.

According to reports, the wedding will take place at Solo’s New Orleans home. The ceremony will be attended by friends and family.

Mr Cashtime K.O. has been turned into an animated cartoon series by Phaa Toonz. The videos, released on YouTube, chronicle the adventures of the Skhanda Hop rapper, with funny references to his lyrics.

You also see other characters that are associated with Cashtime Life, such as Ma-E and MTV Base VJNomuzi, the Skhanda Queen.

 TYGA ARRESTED!

Tyga was arrested while shooting a music video in Los Angeles. According to an eyewitness, the rapper, who was handcuffed while filming a scene in a Rolls Royce, was pulled over for reckless driving. 

TMZ reported that he was later released.
