Maheeda in this new interview with Encomium insists she's born again and highly spiritual,  she opened up on her spiritual life, gains of nudity and beef with Afrocandy. Read excerpts below...

On why she goes nude despite being born again, she said:
"True, I don’t have a problem doing that but I think it is because of my job and I know most Christians won’t understand it. But I just believe that this is what I have to do, to get attention, especially when it comes to my job and I just believe His grace is enough for me. He loves me more than my ‘nakedness’. If you see God as a Father because He sees you as a daughter, I would not because of your nakedness want to ruin you or kill you. That is how I see God. He understands me. He hates me but He loves me at the same time."

Iggy Azalea has hit back at Eminem after he mentioned the Aussie babe in a shocking rap about rape.Ahead of the release of Em's SHADYXV compilation album, track Vegas leaked online - and sees the rapper namecheck both Iggy and Nicki Minaj on a verse.

Taking a swipe at the Fancy hitmaker, Slim Shady spits: "Put that s**t away, Iggy/ You gon’ blow that rape whistle on me. Scream! I love it. 'Fore I get lost with the gettin' off."

Clearly annoyed by his words, Azalea took to Twitter last night (November 20) to state that she's "bored of the old men threatening young women".

“Personally” sets African first!

Nigerian pop duo, P-Square, have set an African first by their video “Personally” reaching 30 million views on Youtube, the first by an African artist.

The video is a tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and sees the brothers pulling some of Wacko Jacko’s dance moves in the video.

 WIZKID HAS FUN IN SA

Wizkid had a great time in South Africa over the weekend. The singer, who performed at Harem nightclub in Johannesburg with 2Face Idibia, shared the experience with his Instagram followers. 

One of the snaps was captioned: “ Way Up! South Africa turn up!” Wiz and 2Face were in the country for Hennessy Artistry’s African Tour, which was a one-night-only event.

Beyoncé has released a new song titled “Ring Off”. The track, which is said to be dedicated to her mother Tina, has received great reviews so far. The track addresses Mama Tina’s painful divorce from her husband Mathew, and the singer also praises her mom for her strength. 

“Dust yourself off and you love again. You found a new man now you shine and you’re fine. Like it’s my time, you took that ring off,” Bey sings.

Nollywood great, Adebayo Salami, aka Oga Bello has been in celebratory mood since he announced plans to mark his 50th year as an actor.

With the big event to celebrate the icon less than a month to go, ENCOMIUM Weekly spoke with him on the event as well as the various issues rocking the industry, including the festering crisis within the Yoruba actors body, the Association of Nigeria Theatre Art Practitioners (ANTP).

He also justified the decision of frontline actors like himself who pulled out of the crisis ridden ANTP to form the Theatre And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPPAN) where he is serving as the Chairman, Board of Trustees.
