Lamar Odom charged with driving while intoxicated

Friday, September 13, E! News has learned that the prosecutor's office in Los Angeles had to charge the athlete driving while intoxicated, a charge which followed his arrest on August 30.

The Odom hearing is scheduled for September 27 in Van Nuys, California, the day of her fourth wedding anniversary withKhloe Kardashian Odom  .

The NBA player for 33 years refused to submit to a breathalyzer test on the spot and a chemical analyst in the evening of his arrest, he risks losing his license for one year. This will be decided at a separate hearing.

These last two weeks have been particularly difficult for Odom, who spent less than 24 hours in rehab before returning home. To make matters worse, E! News has learned from well-informed source that her marriage is in trouble.

"Khloe has given an ultimatum to Lamar if he does not care, their marriage is over," our source told us on September 10. "For now, he ignores. Their situation can always be arranged, but for now, divorce seems imminent."
