ACTOR KUNLE AFOLAYAN APPOINTED LAGOS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY AMBASSADOR
Movie director and actor, Kunle Afolayan’s winning season continues. The acclaimed filmmaker is the new face of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (LCCI).
Afolayan whose latest flick, October 1, is leading in cinemas across the nation, has been appointed a Goodwill Ambassador of the leading private sector business and trade group.
His giant strides in the business community and bold strides in filmmaking, were some of the attributes that convinced the LCCI to appoint him as an Ambassador of the chamber.
” In recognition of your bold strides, we would be honoured if Mr Kunle Afolayan would accept an official role with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry as our Ambassador for Trade and Commerce development.”
With the appointment, Afolayan has joined the list of well-known and highly respected personalities from the business community and many others serving in that capacity.

In the letter of appointment signed by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Assistant Trade Fair Manager, Oluwabunmi Aliyu, Assistant Trade Fair Manager, the LCCI’s Goodwill Ambassadors, are chosen not only because of their name recognition but more particularly because of the respect with which they are held and their appeal both in the local and international community.
Afolayan would be officially unveiled as an Ambassador at an elaborate opening ceremony October 14th, october 2014. The LCCI Ambassador Unveiling Ceremony is scheduled for 14th October 2014 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry”s
