Thierry Henry comments on Sterling!
Football legend Theirry Henry has commented on the Raheem Sterling saga - Raheemnot wanting to sign a lucrative new deal with the club. On Wednesday (20 May) Henry stated that, “Sterling needs to be a man and tell his agent to stop destroying his career.”
The 20 year-old has stated that “not signing a contract extension was not about the money being offered.”
In an interview with Sky Sports after the Arsenal 0-0 draw to Sunderland on Wednesday, Henry also stated that, “You can't go out there and talk about your contract in the press. You have to respect your fans, respect the club that you play for. If you want to leave Liverpool or not, when you make the decision about leaving or staying, then do it. Don't discuss yourself in the paper.”
