“PON DI TING” VIDEO OUT

Award winning rapper Sarkodie has released the official video for his track ““Pon Di Ting”. The track off the rapper’s “Sarkology” album features Banky W.

The music video directed by Sesan features a cameo appearance from Lynxxx.

BEYONCÉ RECORDED 80 SONGS FOR ALBUM

Beyoncé has been talking about her recent surprise album - and has revealed that she actually recorded a whopping 80 tracks for it.

Donald Moatshe was arrested after he was caught speeding on the N2 in Ballito on Sunday, reports say.

"He was driving a silver Audi Q3 and was caught driving at 182 km on a 120 km zone," according to road traffic inspectorate spokesperson Zinhle Mngomezulu.

The musician was granted a R2500 bail and is expected to appear in the Umhlali Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Music Producer ID Cabasa Ordained A Pastor

Top music, Olumide popularly known as ID Cabasa was ordained as a pastor, yesterday Sunday, 29th Dcember at the Global Impact Church, in Surulere Lagos. ID Cabasa produced several mega hits for 9ice including Gongo Aso and Street Credibility. He is said to have contributed to the music section of the church and he also plays the keyboard in church.

Kanye bought a tiny replica of his Batmobile-styled Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 for his six months old daughter, North West, as a Xmas gift. The child-size electric version of the rare $750,000 black supercar car is said to be worth thousands of dollars. A car North can’t ride for years to come.

Beyonce Album Pirated 240,000 Times (Report)

Beyonce Knowles' visual album, "Beyonce", has become a big target of piracy. The 14-song and 17-music video set was illegally downloaded for 240,000 times in its first week. Available for $15.99, the album could have grossed another $3.8 million in sales. Music data analyst Musicmetric said that as of December 18, Beyonce's entire music catalog was shared more than 2 million times through file sharing site BitTorrent. Around 240,000 of those were shares of her new self-titled album.

Justin Bieber confirms retirement via Twitter

The popstar had last week said that he was going to quit music, but the claims were refuted by his manager. However, in the early hours of christmas day, 25th December 2013, the singer used Twitter to tell fans he was "officially retiring". Despite this, he went on to say that he would never leave his fans and wished them a happy Christmas, stating:

"The media talks a lot about me.They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle... Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER".
