Chris Brown May Be Start His Own Reality TV Show Soon

According to a new report on TMZ, singer Chris Brown could be joining the list of Hollywood stars with reality TV shows as BET is gunning to air one! The show will be based on his life after jail and Chris trying to stay on the right path.

BET is gunning to air a Chris Brown reality show... and they've already held focus groups to find out if viewers will flock to their sets or stay away. Multiple sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... BET has made it clear to several production companies ... the network would absolutely air a Chris Brown reality series, chronicling his life after jail. We're told several production companies are angling to sign Chris, but so far that hasn't happened. If it does, we're told the show will get on the air.

A focus group was held Tuesday in the San Fernando Valley ... asking participants if they'd watch a reality show in which Chris tries to stay on the straight and narrow -- free from violence and drugs. We're told the group -- comprised entirely of African American females -- was split, but the majority said they'd watch to see if Chris would screw up.

Music royalty Jay Z and Beyoncé have finally kicked off their summer-long ‘On The Run’ tour in Miami. The pair made the concert somewhat personal by including little clips of their 2008 wedding and of their daughter, Blue Ivy.

This day, five years ago, the world lost one of the greatest musicians of all time: the king of pop, Michael Jackson.

Born August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, U.S.A. Michael was dubbed “The King of Pop”, and ‘til today he is still recognized as the most successful pop singer in the history of music. He died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009.

Chris Brown could be heading back to jail after he rejected a plea deal from the prosecution.

According to TMZ, Chris was close to copping a plea but the deal fell apart because the prosecutor and Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, couldn’t agree on a statement of fact about the events leading to the alleged assault. Chris Brown maintained that he didn’t attack the alleged victim last year outside a hotel.

If Chris plead guilty to assault, he would not have to serve any additional time in jail. But since the court is going to trial now, he could be back in jail soon.

As foreign soccer fans flood to the host city of Recife' a number of children’s rights organizations are working double time to stop child prostitutes from operating with some of them charging as little as $2 for sex. According to British charity Happy Child International, girls as young as 11 are being exploited by pimps, and lured to walk the streets and offer their bodies to tourists.

“We know there are significant risks to children before, during and after major sporting events. The majority of fans and tourists traveling to Brazil for the World Cup would be horrified at the thought of causing harm to the nations children. But unfortunately some will take advantage,” the charity’s founder and CEO Sarah de Carvalho said.

While prostitution is legal in Brazil for those over 18, one sex worker shared that poverty and drug addictions makes younger and younger girls vulnerable to trafficking.

“10, 12, 13, 14, they’ll take them at any age,” she said. "They come and choose a child. A lot of them will go because of necessity. Because of drugs or because they are high. To earn money to survive." She added.

While traveling over the weekend, Verne Troyer had a very hands-on encounter with airport security.

The 45-year-old Austin Powers actor posted an extremely awkward photo of himself at the airport on Facebook yesterday with the caption, "TSA struggles." In the unusual snapshot, Troyer sits in his motorized scooter while leaning forward as a gloved TSA agent pokes around the backside of his body. Troyer's face appears understandably uncomfortable as the security person searches him.
