NICKI’S TOUR MANAGER KILLED

Nicki’s tour manager killed

Nicki Minaj has taken to Twitter to express her sadness after two of her crew members were stabbed in Philadelphia.

The Anaconda rapper’s tour manager De'Von Pickett died from his injuries after a bar fight which spilled out on the street, while Eric Reed was also stabbed several times.

Pickett is thought to have suffered multiple wounds to his torso, while Reed was stabbed on his left arm and left side.

The two men were both rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, and Pickett - also known as DayDay - died from his injuries at 2.45am. Reed remains in a 'fair' condition.

In a statement to NBC Philadelphia, Chief Inspector Scott Small said: “We believe that both of the victims, as well as the perpetrator, were all inside of this bar and that’s when an argument started.”

Taking to Twitter, Minaj wrote: “Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.”

Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.
She then paid tribute to the pair on Instagram, writing: “Rp @myfabolouslife - these guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night. #RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable.

“Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.

Rihanna also took to Instagram to pay homage to the 29-year old, writing: “Can't believe this is true! one of the nicest, coolest, funniest people I've ever met and toured with! We had so much fun together!!! Sad to lose a beautiful spirit like yours #RIPDayDay.”

As well as Minaj and Rihanna, Pickett also worked with the likes of Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake.

The City of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for an arrest and conviction in Pickett's death, with the cops confirming that the suspect was last seen driving away from the scene in a grey Buick LeSabre.
