Jay Z Signs Ghanaian-American Rapper Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa, a Ghanaian-American & Chicago rapper has been signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. 

This news was was made official and was announced on TIDAL. The footage shows the 21-year-old Savemoney co-founder meeting with Jay Z and signing his deal.

Victor Kwesi Mensah aka Vic Mensa, born to a Ghanaian father, Edwar Mensah and an American mother, Betsy Mensah in born in Chicago, Illinois. Vic Mensa is also founder of the hip-hop collective SAVE MONEY with frequent collaborator Chance The Rapper.

In other news, Shawn Carter ‘Jay Z’ took to Twitter to also announce that his cousin is currently in Nigeria to discover new talent. Jay Electronica is signed on to Roc Nation has been in Nigeria for some days and he has met with Don Jazzy and he was also interviewed on Cool FM Last week.


My cousin just moved to Nigeria to discover new talent. Tidal is a global company.
