IGGY AZALEA SLAMS LABEL FOR MAXIM COVER

Iggy Azalea slams Label for Maxim cover

Iggy Azalea hit the headlines this week for her social media bust-up with fellow rapper, Snoop Dogg.

And now it looks like her Australian music label is in the firing line!

After seeing the front cover of Australia's Maxim, the rapper took to Twitter to criticise her Australian management team for allowing the mag to use an old image of her on the cover.

In a series of tweets that have since been deleted, Iggy expresses her gratitude for being chosen as No 1 on Maxim Australia's Hot 100, but vents her frustration at the re-used snap.

"This morning I see you've allowed Maxim Australia to buy an image from a 2011 Complex mag shoot and put it on the cover," she tweeted.

"I think it's awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but there's a right way to make that happen and the Australian label clearly aren't respecting my wishes.

"A magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image."

"Maxim Australia, thanks for the love and I'm sorry no one asked me. Would have loved to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys," she added.
