Brymo’s injunction has been lifted

Brymo would become a performing act while he going through the process of litigating his controversial exit from the Chocolate city label.
Reports by new website AreaFather says the injunction was lifted today by the presiding judge. According toreports, Justice Buba stated that the singer needs to continue his career while the case is before the court. His words:
‘Since the plaintiff (Chocolate City) can be compensated at a later date, the defendant is free to carry out his duties as a singer so that none of the parties will be at a disadvantage.’
On why Brymo left the lebel, his counsel said:
‘An underground artiste signed for a record label in good faith and believed his career will be propelled. All that was promised was not fulfilled and the singer couldn’t promote himself. He wants to be released because artistes in this music industry have a short career span.’
Also claimed that Chocolate City informed Brymo that they wouldn’t be able to fund his second album because they were financing other artistes on the label. It was also revealed that Brymo signed a five-year and three-album contract with Chocolate City, which was due to expire on April 13, 2016.
His manager informs that now his latest album – Merchants, Dealers and Slaves would be made available for purchase in physical copies in Nigeria in the soonest possible time.
