Lorde is not engaged to her boyfriend James Lowe

The singer of "Royals" Lorde , do not intend to do a wedding worthy of a ... king. Wedding or any other for that matter.

Rumors emerged last week, was preparing an imminent marriage between singer aged 17 and her boyfriend of 24 years, Lowe , when he was seen with a ring on the ring at the exit of the Hotel Magnolia in downtown Houston, Thursday, March 6.

However, a representative of the Grammy winner told E! News: "I can confirm that Lorde is not engaged."

Although weddings are not part of their immediate plans, a source of E! News said they formed "a very cute couple" and were "very charming together."

Lorde, who often post pictures on his Instagram account Lowe confirmed their love story inRolling Stone in January.

The couple was photographed trying to embrace  in November for the first time. Lorde, wearing a colorful bikini, had his arms around Lowe while they were bathing in the ocean.

The couple suffered quite brutal attacks on the canvas when these photos were made headlines (Lowe was criticized for his appearance), and the young star has admitted that these criticisms have hurt.

Intellectually, she is well aware that these people are "the type of people who use the word" p - e "as an insult," but she admitted she was not "completely impervious to insults."
