The Kenyan beauty star Lupita Nyong'o who turned 31 on the 1st of March did not only have a memorable 31st birthday, but also won an Oscar Award for "Best Supporting Actress" for her powerful performance and first feature film in 12 Years A Slave. "When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid" Lupita said during her acceptance speech.
After the award ceremony, she celebrated her birthday with two cakes and a Grey Goose pre-Oscar bash in West Hollywood with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in attendance to make the day a more memorable one for the fast rising star.
