People are hating on cdq’s new album cover

Nigerian rapper, CDQ, released the cover art for his new record, “Quality” but judging from the reaction in Nigerian circles, it barely lives up to its name. A lot of of people have slammed the rapper’s creative team for letting him release sub-par artwork for a professional release.
Have a look at it below:
The artwork is blurry and fuzzy, the fonts aren’t the same sizes and quite frankly colours are not all that amazing either.
Joey Akan from Pulse Nigeria lashed into the rapper’s creative team and wrote:
“[on the topic of the photo] Overexposed, poorly edited, cropped and looking like a budget shoot, CDQ’s attempt to clean his ‘razz’ and ghetto image on his album art failed spectacularly. Why do we have a mink coat on a Nigerian rapper in 2016? How many Polar Bears gave their life for CDQ to have that rare privilege? Who put together such a shoot to have that image make the final cut?”
Let’s hope that CDQ’s actual album is better than the artwork is proving to be!
