Ghanaian dancehall star, Stonebwoy has finally returned from his exciting tour in Australia where he got to show some love to some of his biggest fans down under. While there, he also managed to shoot the music video for “Go Higher” and we can’t wait to see how it turned out.
He’s barely been home for a week and he’s already talking about where he’s setting his sights next. The singer wants to work with some of the top artists in Tamale, Ghana. The city has welcomed him with open arms and their chief went on to label him as a “Dancehall Warrior”
“Stonebwoy has been a powerful force that fights to defend his turf in the music industry. He uses his music as a tool to defend the weak and oppressed; he is a warrior. He is the Sapashini of Dancehall — Dancehall Sapashini”
Stonebwoy reciprocated the kind sentiments by speaking about some of the biggest artists in Tamale that he would love to work with:
“There are very talented artistes in the North. Fancy Gadam is one of the big rising acts in Tamale now and there are other good ones too. You know what I’m gonna do? It’s is good to do single, single songs with respective artistes, but this is what I’m gonna do. I have a plan of doing a record feature 2, 3 or more artistes on one record. It’s going to be one solid song with everybody throwing in their best on it, and that’s what I will do”.
Let’s hope that this comes true!
